Notifications
Solum sends email notifications to keep you informed about task activity. The Notifications page lets you control which emails you receive. Manage your preferences at Notifications (also accessible from the user menu in the sidebar).Notification Types
All notifications are delivered by email. Each type can be toggled on or off independently.| Notification | Description | When It’s Sent |
|---|---|---|
| Task assigned to you | A new task has been assigned to you | When someone assigns you to a task |
| New comment on your task | Someone commented on a task you’re assigned to | When a comment is added to one of your tasks (not your own comments) |
| Task completed | A task you created has been marked as completed | When someone completes a task you created |
| Intake form completed | A patient completed their intake form | When a patient submits an intake form |
Privacy
Notification emails are designed to protect patient information. They never include task details, patient names, or any sensitive data in the email body. Instead, each email contains a secure link — you must log in to Solum to view the full details.Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Not receiving notification emails | Check your spam or junk folder. Emails come from notifications@updates.getsolum.com. Also verify the notification type is toggled on in your preferences. |
| Receiving too many emails | Go to the Notifications page and toggle off the types you don’t need. |
| Getting emails for my own comments | You shouldn’t — Solum only sends comment notifications for other people’s comments, not your own. If this is happening, contact support@getsolum.com. |
